The Stitch will create and inspire economic opportunities that reduce the risk of displacement and gentrification by focusing on small business development, community-informed development ideas, and innovative economic policies and programs. The Stitch Master Plan team will develop recommendations that value neighborhood character, allow people to live where they work, and balance the desired experience of local residents with others who use the project area as a destination.

Vacant Land

The Stitch will redesign and improve key streets that intersect with the project site. We will leverage this opportunity to identify and envision the use of vacant land along those streets as opportunities to grow small businesses and meet community needs.
